Forest Inventory and Analysis annual reports for states now available as story maps

The U.S. Forest Service Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) program collects and analyzes data on U.S. forests, and routinely produces annual reports describing forest status and trends at the state level. The information is often used by decision makers in state and federal agencies and the private sector.

The Forest Inventory and Analysis Program is now making annual reports available online as story maps through an interactive interface that allows users to combine maps, text, videos, photos, and other media. The Annual Report webpage is located at http://usfs.maps.arcgis.com/apps/PublicGallery/index.html?appid=bb59566ba3574c92aa04038aed91276b. Currently, the most recent annual reports for 10 states are available on the webpage, and more will be added as they become available.
