Forestry technical session planned at NCASI Southern Regional Meeting

NCASI’s Southern Regional Meeting will be held on June 12-14, 2017 at the Hyatt Regency in Greenville, South Carolina. The General Session on the afternoon of Monday, June 12, will cover topics of general interest such as industry benchmarking, environmental and industrial applications of drone technology, and regulatory developments relevant to the southern region. In addition, Dr. Peter Stangel will describe initiatives of the U.S. Endowment for Forestry and Communities that have implications for forest owners and the forest industry. A reception for meeting participants will take place on June 12 following the General Session.

On June 13, the Forestry Technical Session will focus on conservation, management, and research related to wetland forests in the Southeast, and will conclude with a panel discussion. The agenda for the forestry session, which is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., follows.
