U.S. Global Change Program releases Volume I of the Fourth National Climate Assessment

The U.S. Global Change Program recently released Volume 1 of its Fourth National Climate Assessment. The report addresses the state of science related to climate change and its physical impacts and discusses uncertainties associated with these findings.

The report was developed under the leadership of three coordinating authors associated with federal agencies, universities, and other organizations and includes contributions by many other authors. Chapters address physical drivers of climate change, detection and attribution, temperature changes, precipitation changes, and other topics.
