Environment Canada releases updated boreal caribou science report and boreal caribou recovery strategy

In August 2011, Environment Canada released an updated review of the science needed for the identification of critical habitat for woodland caribou, boreal population. The update includes a more detailed analysis of the current state of boreal caribou local populations across Canada, and revised models of caribou recruitment.
