Abstract

NCASI has a research program directed at relationships between forestry practices and wildlife communities and their habitats. The goal of that program is to develop technical information that supports scientifically-sound and cost-efficient forest management strategies that are capable of maintaining diverse and productive wildlife communities. One step in the process of developing technical information is to review extant published information. This annotated bibliography includes 1,198 references related to the topic of forestry practices and their relationship to wildlife communities and habitats. The references were published between the years 1991 and 1995 and are pertinent to the eastern United States. The bibliography is also available from NCASI in electronic format.
