Tools - GHG Calc Tools for Pulp and Paper Mills - Enhanced User Interface
Description
Go to GHG Calculation Tools overview >>
The calculation tools consist of two parts. The first is a report that describes the approaches for estimating greenhouse gas emissions from pulp and paper mills. The latest version of this report, Version 1.1, was released in July 2005 and is available for download below. The second part is an Excel® spreadsheet to aid in the calculations, containing default approaches and emission factors applicable to an international audience. The original version of the spreadsheet was released in December 2002. In July 2003, NCASI released an enhanced version of this spreadsheet. It includes an easier-to-use Visual Basic user interface that guides the user through the process of completing a GHG inventory. In addition, this version includes default emission factors and units appropriate for mills in the US.
