Jim Palumbo

Senior Program Manager – Water Resources

Background

Jim Palumbo is an environmental engineer currently serving as NCASI’s Water Quality Senior Program Manager. In this role, he coordinates the conduct of technical work related to the pulp and paper industry’s receiving water quality and wastewater treatment. Jim joined NCASI as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Medford, MA office and soon after became a full-time Research Engineer in 2001. His work focuses on the application of computers and quantitative methods to wastewater treatment and receiving water quality problems, leading him to develop several NCASI modeling and computer-based tools. Jim has published numerous articles related to his field in professional literature and is a licensed Professional Engineer.
