New report compiles information related to stream temperature that is relevant to forest products industry

Forest products industry facilities typically discharge heated effluents into receiving waters, and thus are subject to temperature criteria designed to protect aquatic life. NCASI recently published Technical Bulletin No. 1056, a compilation of information that NCASI has gathered in recent years related to stream temperature that is relevant to forest products industry facilities that discharge water to surface water environments.

This report will be useful to NCASI Member Companies that are or may become engaged with government environmental managers and other stakeholders involved with assessments and control of stream temperatures for the protection of aquatic communities.
