CC-10-016: Proposed Emission Standards for Boilers Located at Area Sources

In the June 4, 2010 Federal Register, EPA proposes to set emission standards for boilers located at industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities that are not major sources with respect to facility-wide emissions of hazardous air pollutants. This proposal will be of interest to companies operating paper mills, converting plants, sawmills, and panel plants that are classified as area sources, i.e., the facility-wide potential to emit hazardous air pollutants is less than 10 tons/year of any one or 25 tons/year of two or more hazardous air pollutants, and have one or more boilers.
