CC-96-030: Air – Final Rule for Risk Management Programs

The attached material appeared in the June 20, 1996 Federal Register. It is an EPA final rule for the preparation and submission of facility-specific risk management plans. Mills using chlorine, chlorine dioxide, anhydrous ammonia, aqueous ammonia, formaldehyde-base resins, hydrochloric acid, anhydrous sulfur dioxide, and certain flammable substances including propane and methane, will have to prepare a risk management plan if the amount of one or more of these substances is present on the mill site in a ‘process’ in more than its threshold quantity.
