Special Report No. 78-05: Proceedings of the 1978 NCASI Southern Regional Meeting

An important element in the National Council's information transfer program is our annual series of regional meetings. These are organized in great measure by our Northeast, Southern, West Coast and Central-Lake States Region staffs, and as a result, reflect a blend of program content focusing on regional interests and developments as well as subjects of national importance. The meetings normally consist of a general session, followed by a series of concurrent sessions focusing on a specific problem or program area. The meetings are designed to bring the latest information together on specific subjects and therefore results in program material ranging from complete technical papers to oral discussions reflecting work still in progress. Attached you will find the thirteenth in a series of special reports providing materials assembled in connection with these meetings, covering in this instance the Southern Regional meeting held in August of 1978.
