Technical Bulletin No. 0127: Legal Aspects of Air Pollution

The tremendous increase in air pollution activities in the last ten years has occasioned a similar increase in associated legal problems. As the understanding of air pollution exposures increases, the need for new and broader legal concepts and procedures to handle the disputes that inevitably arise has also increased. It deals with some of the chief areas of legal activities in air pollution such as investigation, prosecution and defending of civil suits and claims, drafting of air pollution control legislation, and enforcement of air pollution statutes.
