Technical Bulletin No. 0287: The Relation Between Process Water Quality Characteristics and Its Reuse Potential in Fine Paper Mills

An increasingly greater portion of the National Council program is devoted to various aspects of internal process loss control. This program activity, encouraged by the Operating Committee, reflects the general understanding that the optimal approach to mill environmental protection program development consists of a combined consideration of internal process loss control measures and external treatment. One element of this National Council study program is devoted to the development of information which would be useful to mills in implementing programs of more extensive water reuse in paper and board manufacture.
