Technical Bulletin No. 0657: A Study of Volatile Organic Compound and Condensible Particulate Matter Measurement Methods Used on Furnish Dryers in the Oriented Strandboard Industry

Volatile organic compound (VOC), particulate matter (PM), and condensable particulate matter (CPM) data are presented from concurrent sampling of wood dryer emissions at three oriented strandboard (OSB) mills drying pine mixed with other species. VOC data were obtained concurrently with EPA Methods 25 and 25A. PM and CPM data were obtained with EPA Method 5 in conjunction with Method 202, Oregon Method 7 and Georgia Method 5T.
