Technical Bulletin No. 0867: Integration of a Relative Risk Multi-Stressor Risk Assessment with the NCASI Long-Term Receiving Water Studies to Assess Effluent Effects at the Waters

A multi-stressor watershed level risk assessment was conducted on the Leaf River Watershed in order to put potential mill effluent effects into perspective vis-a-vis other watershed activities. The relative risk method of risk assessment was used to identify and rank regional sources of stressors and the local habitats they potentially impact and to describe the risk to assessment endpoints. The large watershed was broken into eight subregions, three of which included portions of the Long-Term Receiving Water Study (LTRWS) area.
