Angela Larsen-Gray, Ph.D.

Background

Dr. Angela (Angie) Larsen-Gray is a forest wildlife ecologist in the eastern United States. Her research interests include population and community ecology, biodiversity and conservation, animal behavior, and related ecological topics. Angie’s recent work at NCASI has focused on examining the responses of various wildlife species to working forest landscapes, particularly how forest management practices influence species distribution, community composition, and structural characteristics. She also serves as the Treasurer of The Wildlife Society’s (TWS) Forestry and Wildlife Working Group, Chair of the Southeastern Section of TWS’ Conservation Affairs Committee, and Chair of the Partners in Flight Industry Working Group.

• Ph.D. in Environmental Health Science (Minor in Statistics), University of North Carolina-Greensboro
• M.S. in Biology, Grand Valley State University (Allendale, MI)
• B.S. in Biology, Conservation Biology minor, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point
