Background

Arun has been with NCASI since 1989. Prior to NCASI, he served as Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH. Over the past three decades at NCASI, Arun has conducted and supervised several studies on characterizing air toxics, NOx (nitrous oxide), SO2 (sulfur dioxide), and other criteria pollutants from pulping, recovery and combustion sources, criteria/non-criteria pollutant formation, and emission from alternative fuel burning and analyzing Boiler MACT data to develop scientifically defensible emission factors for Hg (mercury), PM (particulate matter), HCl (hydrochloric acid), and CO (carbon monoxide).
