Senior Research Engineer, Eastern Regional Coordinator
Location: Newberry Office & Laboratories – Newberry, FL

Background

Danny joined the NCASI team in May 2023. He graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and a certificate in Pulp and Paper Engineering. As an undergraduate researcher, his work centered on replicating and preventing adhesive residue deposition in recycled fiber streams. Prior to joining NCASI, he spent 9 years serving in various roles in a pulp mill, with the most recent being bleach plant operations management. His time in the industry gained him valuable knowledge on batch digesters, bleaching stages, washers, biomass and recovery boilers, evaporators, and air/water environmental control systems. Danny looks forward to applying his hands-on experience in support of projects in NCASI’s Air, Water, and Wood Products Programs.
