Much of the forest products industry’s energy needs are met with the use of biomass. NCASI research helps to educate and convey the unique aspects of biomass-powered energy systems to stakeholders. NCASI’s research in this focus area incorporates projects that quantify forest products energy system energy use profiles, and we assist our Member Companies in addressing related regulations and energy sustainability initiatives.
