NCASI scientist elected to lead Canadian Section of The Wildlife Society

Dr. Darren Sleep, Senior Forest Ecologist with NCASI’s Canadian Operations in Montreal, is the new President-elect of the Canadian Section of The Wildlife Society (TWS). Dr. Sleep has been an active TWS member since his time in graduate school, and is a charter member of the Canadian Section that was initiated in 2007. Having served as part of the Section’s Conservation Affairs Committee since 2009 and an active member in both the Section’s and the parent organization’s annual conferences, he gladly accepted the nomination to stand as President-elect. The position is a three-year appointment.
